Assistant Manager - Forecasting & Scheduling(F&S)

Role & responsibilities

1. Client registration in SLDC/RLDC for F&S services.
2. Real-time monitoring of plant generation.
3. Analysis of plant generation forecasts, schedule and weather forecast and other forecasts parameters. Forecasting of plant generation in day ahead and real time based on input parameters.
4. Sending and uploading the schedules/revisions of the generating plant to the respective SLDC/RLDC/REMC portals.
5. Preparing the accuracy & performance reports as required from time to time.
6. DSM, pooling/de-pooling calculation on the published data.
7. Respond to the incidents generated by alerts / through analysis, based on standard procedures
8. Tracking the regulatory changes and updating the management
9. Any other assigned activity under the purview of F&S.
