Assistant Manager - Clinical Marketing (Cardiology)

Job Summary:

To ensure that products meet all regulatory, safety, and quality standards from development through production and into post-market surveillance. This role focuses on maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulatory guidelines, as well as driving continuous improvement processes to ensure the highest quality for cardiology medical devices, such as Drug Eluting Stents, Drug Eluting Balloons, PTCA Balloon, Guidewires and catheters etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that cardiology products comply with all relevant Quality Standards before reaching the customers.
• Understand, document, and rectify quality issues, understand inspection processes, test protocols, and control procedures to ensure product quality and consistency is in place.
• Should have In-Depth knowledge of range of Cardiology Products and should be able to understand the queries of sales team.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify possible improvement areas in product designs and processes.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams on product testing and quality issues to ensure resolution and continuous improvement.
• Should have great presentation skills, should be able to train the Cardiologist on range of Cardiology Products.
• Should be able to address queries of Sales team, Technicians & Doctors.
• Create, maintain, and review Quality Management System (QMS) documentation, including CAPA, change control, and non-conformance reports, ensuring alignment with regulatory and industry standards.
• Generate quality reports and metrics to assess product quality, manufacturing defects, and improvement areas.
• Should be able to understand the whole manufacturing process with minute details to be able to convince the customers on technology.
• Should be comfortable to travel across the country to meet customers and address their concerns along with helping the sales team during field work.
• Should be comfortable to organize and handle Training programs in Cath labs and hospitals.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure quality is built into product design, development, and manufacturing processes.
• Provide training to Sales team, Technicians, production and quality teams on cardiology product quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
• 3+ years of experience in clinical role within the medical device industry, preferably in cardiology or similar high-risk product categories,
• Skills:
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey technical information effectively.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

Preferred Experience:

• Familiarity with cardiology-specific regulatory guidelines and standards.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on Cardiology products, Cath Lab Technician, Perfusionist, handling Clinical Marketing for Cath lab products.
