Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for managing team of accountants and complying to all the accounting, direct, indirect tax compliance, and other regulatory requirements for private limited companies and limited liability partnership firms (LLP's). This role requires strong management skills, technical expertise, excellent communication skills, good MS skills and a proactive approach to deliver quality client service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounting:
- Managing and review of day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping undertaken by team, for clients.
- Supervising monthly vendor, tax withholding and GST payments processes.
- Coordinating amongst team and third-party vendors to get the invoices processed correctly.
- Preparing financial statements and MIS reports.
- Assistance in handling statutory audits carried out by Client's external auditors and preparing requisite working files to support the numbers in the financial statements.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
2. Direct/Indirect Tax Compliance:
- Preparation and filing of income tax returns for clients, private limited companies and limited liability partnership firms.
- Supervising the filing of GST returns for clients, including private limited companies and LLP's.
- Assisting in tax audits and ensuring adherence to direct and indirect tax provisions.
- Handling TDS compliance, including filing of monthly/ quarterly returns, issuance of certificates, and reconciliation.
- Supporting assessments, notices, and litigation matters.
3. Other Regulatory Work:
- Assisting with compliance requirements for private limited companies and LLP's.
- Advising clients on regulatory updates and ensuring timely adherence.
- Coordinating with external auditors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
4. Client Coordination and Support:
- Acting as a point of contact for client queries and delivering timely solutions.
- Coordinating and solving queries or issues with Client's vendors.
- Managing client deliverables and maintaining high standards of service.
