Job Description
- Responsibilities Key Deliverables. Act as the key point of contact between the company and government authorities, regulatory bodies, local communities, and other external entities. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and policy requirements, and manage the relationship with authorities to facilitate the timely execution of solar energy projects.
- Act as the primary liaison between the company and government agencies at various levels (central, state, and local authorities) for obtaining necessary approvals, licenses, and permits required for solar EPC projects.
- Ensure compliance with national and regional renewable energy policies, environmental regulations, and energy laws.
- Conduct risk assessments and implemeMonitor regulatory changes and provide timely updates to senior management about their potential impact on projects.
- Prepare and submit required documentation for project approvals, environmental clearances, and other legal requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, regulatory bodies, local authorities, landowners, and community leaders.
- Liaise with local zoning and municipal authorities to ensure compliance with land acquisition and use policies.
- Ensure the company adheres to all local, regional, and national regulations throughout the lifecycle of each project.
- Stay updated with changes in renewable energy policies, subsidies, incentives ensure that the company is leveraging all available government incentives and subsidies for renewable energy projects.
- Develop statewise agency for approvals and get work done from them. Prepare regular reports for senior management on the status of permit approvals, regulatory compliance, and liaison activities.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of all project-related permits, approvals, and clearances.
- Advise the management team on potential political, regulatory, or legal challenges affecting the execution of projects develop strategies to handle any emerging risks.
- Experience. 3-5 years of experience in liaisoning, government relations, or regulatory affairs, preferably in the renewable energy sector. Qualifications. Industry Preferred. Diploma (Electrical/Mechanical), BE / B Tech preferred. General Requirements.
