Job Title: Assistant Manager - Plan Analytics
Role Responsibilities: Performance / KPI in sighting
Plan Analytics - Supply Plan
Purpose of the Role: Harness the power of data to drive tangible improvements in supply chain operations. Data Analyst should focus on analysing complex data sets, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to enhance key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive impactful projects. Your work will directly contribute to streamlining processes, improving inventory management, enhancing forecasting accuracy, and ultimately optimizing the overall efficiency of our supply chain operations. Key Business KPIs to be key in mind at all times are NSV/ Revenue, Operating Profit (Top & bottom line) and Market Share
The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mindset, expertise in data visualization tools, and the ability to effectively communicate findings to cross-functional teams. Role holder should be a strategic thinker with a passion for leveraging data to make a real difference in supply chain management. We want to shape the future of supply chain planning through data-driven decision-making!
What will make a candidate successful in this role
Areas of Responsibility
Performance Management: KPI Reporting through Automated Dashboard (Self-help)
Service (OOS, OTIFNE)
Demand (Forecast Accuracy & Bias) - multiple cuts
Production (ATP, W-2 production plan changes)
Cost / Inventory, DoH - current, forward cover, half yearly target tracking
09 Adherence / manual overrides across modules (DP, PP, RP, MRP)
All India Dashboard
Exception handling & Data management - eg. 09 Overrides for OOS, ATP,
Creation of Control tower for proactive risk identification - Initiate through multiple control sheets in sub function to thereafter build an e2e view.
Governance
MoR (Monthly Review with leadership)
Global reporting / T4,5,6 deck
Developing adhoc reports / decs as business need arises
Data Analysis for driving Continuous Improvement
Work with cross functional team to identify areas where we need to track performance and proactively identify areas where we need to take corrective actions.
External insights

Secondary research / other functional connects - what is happening outside Diageo - in automation / data / how to draw insights & others areas

It’s a very free atmosphere and culture, especially the managers. They do make us do lot of work, projects, improvements etc but I have never heard that any managers are controlling their people in terms of breaks, late login or early logout. As the people also are very responsible which keeps the environment very much calm and compose.
The structure or planning of organisational changes or communication can be improved, most of the time the communication do not reach everyone and at least not in a way they understand or participate. Mostly due to generic information passing via email or 1 or 2 sessions in zoom. This can be improved to make it more engaging but making it visually appealing.
