Assistant Manager, Reconciliation - CFD

Role & responsibilities

• Ensure / perform daily, monthly, cash, position, and trade recon.
• Involved in resolution of breaks liaison with fund, counterparties, & Prime Brokers.
• Ensure error free and timely daily support/ deliverables.
• Good knowledge of Bloomberg, Corporate Action, Pricing.
• Liaison with internal and external customers for information
• Exposure to Hedge Funds will be an added advantage.
• Should have a understanding on the working mechanism of products and settlements, trade
  processing etc.
• Comfortable with various reconciliations covering position, cash, trade PNL etc.
• Generating periodic reports on unresolved breaks with ageing of the same, pricing using
  various vendor sources, corporate actions, etc.
• Exposure to various instruments such as equity, derivatives, fixed income instruments,
  treasury instruments, debt, FX, etc.
• Experience in handling large volume operations, stringent deliverables, ensuring deliverables
  are met within SLAs.
• Top oral, written communication and influencing skills.
• Understanding of accounting related to trades / accrual is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Geneva & CFD is must

Preferred candidate profile

• Any Postgraduate in Commerce / Finance domain
• 9-12 years experience in cash, trade reconciliation and resolutions from Capital Market / IB
  Industries
• Experience in working across country lines and operating in a global, multinational organization
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Quickly assimilate contingency plans during crises or major outages.
• Be delivery oriented, used to meeting strict deadlines, while producing quality work.
• Timely closure of issues, concerns, problems, and risks.
• Manage multiple priorities and cope with ambiguity.
• Possess good sense of urgency and ability to respond to urgent requests and crisis
