Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Manager - Finance & Accounts to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in finance and accounting, with a strong focus on general ledger management, GST compliance, fixed asset management, and financial reporting. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent analytical and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
General Ledger Management:
- Preparation of monthly trial balance.
- Preparation of expense provisions monthly/quarterly.
- Scrutiny of all G/Ledger accounts and pass rectification entries as and when required.
- Knocking off dummy accounts on a monthly basis.
- GST Compliance:
- Ensure 100% availment of GST credit within the stipulated time.
- Manage compliances related to registration under GST (factory & ISD).
- Timely communication to all concerned for any discrepancy in relation to loss of credit.
- Maintain statutory records at the plant pertaining to indirect tax laws.
- Monitor all compliances and timely payments pertaining to statutory liabilities.
- Manage ISD GST matching and credit availment.
- Reconciliation of Goods & Service Tax accounts.
- Timely submission of monthly/quarterly/annual returns of GST (GSTR-3B, GSTR-1, GSTR-2B, GSTR-9).
Inventory and Stock Management:
- Reconciliation and transfer of consumption entries.
- Compilation, reconciliation, and valuation of finished goods (F/G), work-in-progress (WIP), and other unit stocks.
Fixed Asset Management:
- Reconciliation of fixed asset ledgers with FA mass addition reports, preparing rectification entries using integrators.
- Creating CIP codes and adding mass addition entries to CIP.
- Capitalization of ready-to-use asset project assets.
- Preparation of fixed asset registers and CIP registers.
Financial Reporting:
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports.
Qualifications:
- MBA
- 7-14 years of experience in finance and accounting.
- Strong understanding of GST laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in general ledger management and financial reporting.
- Experience in fixed asset management and inventory reconciliation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
