Assistant Area Manager

Job Title: Assistant Area Manager (OEM Sales)
Location: Guwahati - North East
Reports To: Regional Manager
Job Purpose:The AAM for OEM Sales will be responsible for driving sales and developing strong relationships with OEM within a designated territory. The AAM will work closely with the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets, providing high-quality service and solutions tailored to the unique needs of OEM clients. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue and profit goals in the assigned territory.
• Drive and monitor the performance of OEM sales activities, ensuring that targets are achieved.
• Identify new OEM business opportunities and lead negotiations for long-term contracts.
• Maintain and grow existing relationships with key OEM clients and partners.
• Lead negotiations on pricing, contracts, and terms with OEM customers.
• Finalize deals, ensuring all legal and operational requirements are fulfilled.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: MBA with any B.Tech/ BE/ Graduate
• Experience:
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in OEM sales in Building material
• Strong experience in B2B sales and relationship management.
• Technical Knowledge:
• Good understanding of OEM products and technical requirements.
• Knowledge of product lifecycle, from design to delivery.
• Strong customer-focused approach with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
• Ability to analyze and interpret sales data to drive decision-making.
• Self-motivated, with strong time management and organizational skills.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities.
• Strong understanding of market dynamics and competitor activities.
