Assistant Manager - Accounts Payable

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable professional to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have 6-7 years of experience in managing accounts payable functions, preferably within the real estate sector, and will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and payments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and verify invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests.
• Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
• Prepare and execute payment runs, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Liaise with internal teams and external vendors to resolve issues related to payments and invoices.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Monitor and track the aging of accounts payable to ensure timely payments.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Commerce or related field.
• 6-7 years of experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in the real estate industry.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and best practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
