Job Description

Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, logistics, inventory management, and e-commerce operations.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing team within the ecommerce context.
Analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach
Experience in a similar role within the e-commerce industry

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives in the e-commerce sector. Collaborate with senior management to set supply chain goals and objectives.
Warehouse Management: Manage and optimise the operations of four warehouses located in Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, and Kolkata, ensuring efficient inventory management, order fulfilment, and delivery within the e-commerce framework.
Procurement: Lead procurement efforts, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure cost effective sourcing of materials, products, and services to support the needs of our e commerceoperations.
Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, forecasting, and demand planning to ensure optimal stock levels while minimising carrying costs in the context of e-commerce.
Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance to ensure timely and costeffective procurement of materials and services for e-commerce operations.
Logistics and Distribution: Manage the transportation, warehousing, and distribution of products within the e-commerce supply chain to ensure on-time delivery to customers while minimising transportation costs.
Process Optimization: Continuously review and improve e-commerce supply chain processes to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and streamline operations.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions in the e- commerce supply chain, and develop contingency plans
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals within the e- commerce sector, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve departmental goals.
Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) specific toecommerce supply chain operations to assess effectiveness and drive data-driven improvements.
