Job Description

About AssetPlus

AssetPlus is a B2B2C wealth management platform used by our partners and their clients. Our partners are financial professionals skilled at managing clients wealth.

The engineering team at AssetPlus builds and maintains these client-facing and partner-facing apps/dashboards and several internal automation tools. As an SDE-2, you will be responsible for designing architecture for core features of the platform along with development and code reviews.

Tech Stack

Senior Devs at AssetPlus have identified the best frameworks and tools that are easy to learn and maintain with great developer experience. Our devs spend more time coding and less time fighting with frameworks and deployments. Some of the key parts of our stack include:

1. NodeJS with TypeScript (Backend)

2. ReactJS with TypeScript (Web)

3. Flutter (Mobile)

4. MongoDB (Database)

5. Automated DevOps

Responsibilities

1. Design & Architecture: Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance applications and system architecture for core platform features.

2. Code Development: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, primarily using NodeJS, TypeScript, and ReactJS.

3. Code Reviews & Mentorship: Review code for quality assurance and provide mentorship to junior developers to enhance team skills.

4. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX/UI designers, and QA engineers, to deliver product features on time.

5. System Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of the applications, databases, and integrations for improved scalability and reliability.

6. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation to support the development process and aid in onboarding new team members.

7. Feature Ownership: Take full ownership of product features from ideation to deployment and ensure smooth operation post-launch.

Basic qualifications

1. At least 2-3 years of experience with Javascript/React/NodeJS

2. Good System Design skills.

3. Strong English communication.

4. Great presentation skills.

5. Good at math (we are a fintech company after all).

Preferred Qualifications

1. Worked on a product with at least 10000 users
