Senior Director Service Delivery (Revenue Cycle Management)

Reports To: Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) / CEO

Level: Senior Leadership

Role & responsibilities

1. Client & Service Delivery Excellence (60%)

- Oversee service delivery for $3M+ revenue portfolios, ensuring seamless execution of medical billing, coding, AR follow-up, and denial management.

- Establish a proactive client communication framework, ensuring daily progress updates so clients never have to ask for information.

- Act as the final escalation point for client concerns, driving structured root-cause analysis and resolution.

- Conduct weekly governance reviews with clients, ensuring transparency and strategic alignment.

- Ensure all SLA and KPI targets (e.g., cash collections, first-pass resolution rate, denial overturn rate) are met or exceeded.

2. Governance, Compliance & Risk Mitigation (10%)

- Implement strong governance frameworks to prevent operational slippages that lead to client dissatisfaction or revenue loss.

- Build a real-time risk identification system, ensuring escalations are addressed before they impact clients.

- Ensure HIPAA compliance, payer guidelines adherence, and audit readiness across all service lines.

- Partner with internal Quality and Compliance teams to establish robust audit mechanisms.

3. Leadership, Training & Performance Management (20%)

- Lead a team of 200+ RCM professionals, including delivery managers, team leads, and operational staff.

- Drive a culture of ownership, accountability, and high performance.

- Establish continuous training programs to upskill mid-level leadership, addressing governance gaps and technical deficiencies.

- Actively mentor direct reports, developing next-generation leaders who can scale with the business.

4. Strategic Growth & Process Optimization (10%)

- Drive operational efficiencies, reducing cost-per-claim while improving performance metrics.

- Leverage automation and analytics to optimize workflows and improve decision-making.

- Collaborate with the CSO and CEO on strategic initiatives, including hospital-based RCM, rural BCP center expansion, and inorganic growth (acquisitions).
