Job Description
7+ years of experience in a consulting role focused on retail analytics or a related field. Strong functional knowledge of customer and merchandise analytics. Solid technical background in data warehouse and data lake solutions, with hands-on experience in implementing and managing these technologies. Expertise in cloud-based analytics solutions such as Snowflake, Databricks, etc. Deep understanding of retail data architecture and best practices. Proven track record of successfully consulting with customers, understanding their needs, and delivering impactful solutions. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field; Masters degree preferred. Willingness to travel as needed to meet client needs.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead consulting engagements with clients, focusing on retail analytics solutions to address their unique challenges and opportunities.
- Design and implement comprehensive analytics strategies, focusing on customer and merchandise insights to drive retail performance.
- Provide expert advice on data architecture, specifically within the retail sector, ensuring scalable and efficient data management.
- Guide clients in selecting and deploying cloud-based analytics solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks) to enhance their data capabilities.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their data ecosystem, recommending improvements and innovations in data warehousing and data lakes.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions for clients to elevate their understanding and use of retail analytics tools and methodologies.
- Work closely with the internal team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and exceed client expectations. Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies.
