Java Technical Project Manager

Job description:

• Strong technical candidate with comprehensive experience in the Java tech stack, particularly encompassing Springboot, Microservices, and Application Servers.
• Proficient hands-on working experience with at least one of the major Java frameworks, with a preference for Spring Boot, coupled with a solid understanding of microservice architecture.
• Expertise in technologies such as No-SQL databases, Caching solutions, performance optimization, security measures, infrastructure management (like AWS), message queues, web sockets, Single Page Application (SPA) development, and real-time system architectures.
• Expected to possess a strong technical solution architecting competency and the capacity to provide insightful technical guidance to the team, steering them towards best practices.
• Demonstrated experience in managing or contributing to a Center of Excellence, promoting technical excellence and innovation within the organization. Must showcase an acute aptitude, analytical mindset, and superior problem-solving abilities.
• Outstanding communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts in clear, concise terms to diverse audiences.
• Highly organized, self-driven, and an intrinsic motivator.
• Ability to foster collaboration and harmonious working relationships within a distributed, multicultural team setting.

• Project planning & estimation in line with customer expectations & end-to-end client engagement.
• Project issue and risk management, Manage each project in accordance with the plans and company's process framework.

• Report on project progress against plan, including effort, schedule, milestones, issues and risks.
• Efficient resource management and ensuring appropriate human capital utilization at all points of time.
• Analyze project metrics to ensure compliance to quality.
• Drive the compliance of SLAs and make strategies to overcome non- compliance.
• Drive corrective measures proactively if non-compliance is observed in the project.
• Ensuring customer satisfaction & build ongoing relationships with them and managing their expectations.
• Closely work with internal stakeholders including sales, account management to maximize the further project opportunities for the existing customers.
• Follow change management process if changes are required to the project scope, timeline, resources, or budget.
• Knowledge sharing and promoting the implementation of best practices across projects.
• Initiate and follow a counter-measure process if the project becomes off-track. Provide strong leadership to the project team members.
