Data Scientist ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
About the Role:
A Data Scientist is capable of developing, deploying, and implementing solutions for artificial intelligence and machine learning problems and business needs. Ability to work with cross-functional teams, to collect requirements, analyze data, and create/deploy machine learning models. Must be wellinformed about the latest advancements offered by AI/ML research and technologies which are supposed to result in continuous innovation. Their job is a combination of technical implementation and efficient communication, collaboration, and documentation to guarantee successful project outcomes and knowledge sharing within a team.
Experience Level: 2-4 years.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Development and Implementation:
a. Advanced knowledge of predictive analytics and time series analysis to build solutions.
b. Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making processes.
c. Expertise in NLP techniques to develop robust solutions for language-based tasks.
d. Experience in fine-tuning open-source LLMs and integrating them into practical applications. e. Proficiency in SQL and Python for building and deploying machine learning models.
f. Part of the development team is to write clean, concise, and properly documented code.
g. Adopt methods of version control, continuous integration, and deployment to make it easier to manage the development process and to guarantee reliability in the code.
2. Quality Assurance and Testing:
a. Coordinate with QA engineers, execute proper testing procedures for ensuring delivery of quality.
b. Implement automated testing frameworks and various tests tools for expanded test coverage and efficiency.
3. Documentation:
a. and maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed solutions and systems.
b. Document development processes and workflows for future reference.
4. Team Collaboration:
a. Make the most of your teamwork relationship by adopting a shared expectation of knowledge sharing, collaboration, and a continuous learning process.
b. Guide, and support junior developers at the same time, and provide them with the necessary feedback, to help them become more professional.
c. Foster innovation and creativity in the entire team for if low-member proffer new ideas successfully and implement practical solutions on any technical issues.
