WHAT WE NEED:

We are looking for a Packing Illustrator to join our creative team. This role is ideal for a highly creative and experienced packing illustrator who can both design and manage the intricacies of packaging projects, from ideation to production. You will play a critical role in contributing fresh ideas, collaborating with our design team, and ensuring high-quality deliverables across various projects and campaigns.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Packaging Design & Illustration:
• Create and conceptualize detailed and innovative illustrations for product packaging.
• Collaborate with the design team and marketing department to ensure that packaging designs align with the brand's visual identity.
• Design 2D and 3D representations of packaging concepts, ensuring they are practical, manufacturable, and visually appealing.
• Product Branding:
• Develop designs that effectively communicate the product's story, benefits, and brand message through visuals.
• Work on illustrations that align with the product’s target market and are compliant with packaging regulations.
• Creative Concept Development:
• Create mood boards, sketches, prototypes, and design drafts for internal and client approvals.
• Ensure packaging designs meet industry trends and evolving market demands.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other designers to translate technical and creative requirements into functional design.
• Regularly present designs and updates to senior management and stakeholders for feedback and approvals.
• Quality Control:
• Review final packaging designs to ensure they meet production standards, and liaise with production teams to ensure designs are accurately produced.
• Troubleshoot and solve design issues as they arise in the production process.
• Research and Trend Analysis:
• Stay updated on packaging industry trends, materials, and innovations.
• Research competitor packaging designs to ensure our packaging remains competitive and creative.

Required Qualifications:

• 5 to 8 years of professional experience in packaging design and illustration.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and other design software.
• Strong illustration skills, including hand-drawn, digital, and vector illustration techniques.
• Experience working with various materials and packaging processes (e.g., flexography, lithography, screen printing).
• Knowledge of packaging regulations and environmental considerations.
• Experience in 3D packaging design and visualization tools (e.g., ArtiosCAD, 3D rendering software).
• Excellent ability to develop original concepts and bring ideas to life visually.
• Strong focus on ensuring designs are not only creative but also meet technical specifications and production requirements.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to identify design challenges and come up with innovative solutions to overcome them.
