ITI FITTER FRESHER

Key Responsibilities:

Mechanical Assembly and Installation:

Assist in the assembly and installation of mechanical components, machinery, and equipment according to technical specifications.
Support senior fitters in fitting and aligning parts to meet precise specifications.
Use hand and power tools to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, and cutting.

Maintenance and Repair:
Assist in the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems and machinery.
Help identify and replace worn or defective parts, such as bearings, seals, and gaskets.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance under supervision.

Technical Support:
Assist in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals to understand fitting requirements.
Support the troubleshooting of mechanical issues by conducting basic tests and inspections.
Work closely with senior fitters to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.

Safety and Compliance:
Follow all safety protocols and procedures while performing fitting tasks.
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure the work area is safe and organized.
Assist in ensuring that all fitting work complies with industry standards and regulations.

Learning and Development:
Participate in on-the-job training to gain hands-on experience in the fitting trade.
Attend workshops, training sessions, and safety meetings to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Seek feedback and guidance from senior fitters and supervisors to improve performance.
