Sap Project Manager

The SAP Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering SAP projects to meet business objectives. This role requires strong project management skills, SAP functional or technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Execution
• Lead and manage SAP projects, including implementations, upgrades, migrations, and enhancements.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget while maintaining quality standards.
2. Stakeholder Management
• Work closely with clients, business stakeholders, and technical teams to define project scope, objectives, and requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for project communication and status updates.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and address any issues or risks effectively.
3. Team Coordination
• Coordinate with cross-functional SAP teams (functional consultants, developers, testers, etc.).
• Lead, mentor, and motivate project team members to meet project milestones and goals.
4. Risk & Issue Management
• Identify project risks and issues early, developing appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Track and escalate project risks or challenges to leadership when required.
5. Monitoring & Reporting
• Monitor project progress through key performance indicators (KPIs) and regular updates.
• Provide detailed status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure proper documentation of project deliverables, lessons learned, and post-implementation reviews.
6. Process Improvement
• Drive process improvements and best practices within project delivery methodologies.
• Promote adherence to SAP project management standards and methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.

Key Skills and Qualifications

• Experience: 6-7 years of project management experience, specifically managing SAP projects (SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BW, SuccessFactors, etc.).
• Technical/Functional Knowledge: Understanding of SAP modules and processes (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, HCM, SuccessFactors, etc.).
• Project Tools: Proficiency with project management tools (JIRA, MS Project, Trello, etc.).
• Methodologies: Experience in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Leadership: Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Problem Solving: Ability to identify challenges, risks, and develop solutions proactively.
• Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
