Scrum Master

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Scrum Master to lead our agile development teams. The ideal candidate will facilitate Scrum practices, foster a collaborative environment, and ensure the successful delivery of our product initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

• Agile Facilitation:
• Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure adherence to Scrum principles and practices.
• Facilitate the removal of impediments to the teams progress.
• Team Collaboration:
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
• Promote effective communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, product managers, and stakeholders.
• Process Improvement:
• Continuously evaluate and improve Scrum processes and practices.
• Implement best practices to enhance team productivity and efficiency.
• Project Management:
• Assist Product Owners in managing the product backlog and prioritizing tasks.
• Track and report on team performance metrics, such as velocity and sprint burndown.
• Ensure timely delivery of actionable items milestones and objectives.
• Coaching and Mentorship:
• Mentor team members on agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
• Provide guidance and support to team members to help them achieve their full potential.

Qualifications:

• Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• 3 to 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in an agile environment.
• Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment is highly desirable.
• Certifications:
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification required.
• Additional certifications (e.g., PMI-ACP, SAFe Scrum Master) are a plus.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of Scrum principles, Agile methodologies, and software development lifecycle.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to resolve conflicts and remove obstacles.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the food tech industry or related sectors.
• Knowledge of product development.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a dynamic startup environment.
