Java Developer

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with strong skills in Microservices and Spring Boot for our Client. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building scalable, high-performance applications and will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying microservices-based applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Employment Type: Contract to Hire

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Develop Microservices: Design, develop, and maintain microservices-based applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• API Development: Build and expose RESTful APIs for front-end consumption and integration with other services.
• System Integration: Integrate backend microservices with databases, third-party APIs, and other microservices.
• Maintain Code Quality: Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code while following industry best practices, including unit testing and code reviews.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of microservices-based applications, ensuring scalability and responsiveness.
• DevOps & CI/CD: Collaborate with DevOps engineers to implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.
• Troubleshooting & Debugging: Diagnose and resolve issues related to performance, scalability, and deployment.
• Agile Methodologies: Work in an Agile environment, attending daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for system design, architecture, and APIs.

Required Qualifications:Experience:

• Proven experience as a Java Developer with a focus on Microservices and Spring Boot.
• 3+ years of experience in designing and developing microservices applications.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring MVC.
• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar.
• Proficient with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with version control tools like Git.
