Java Developer

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Java Developer with expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices architecture to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in building scalable, high-performance applications with modern software development practices. As a Java Developer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement enterprise-level solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Build and deploy Microservices applications using containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Implement and integrate RESTful APIs and services.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Write unit, integration, and functional tests to ensure high code quality and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
• Optimize the performance of applications through profiling, memory management, and other techniques.
• Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
• Mentor junior developers and assist in code reviews to ensure high coding standards.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Java application development.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and other related frameworks.
• In-depth knowledge of Microservices architecture and its implementation.
• Hands-on experience with building RESTful APIs and web services.
• Proficiency in using SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Solid understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Proficient in version control systems, particularly Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Additional Information:

• This position is based in Chennai, and candidates must be located in this location.
• Candidates with experience in the banking and financial services sectors will be given preference.
• Candidates with career gaps or gaps between degree completion and the start of their career will not be considered
