Data Scientist - ETL Pipeline (2-5 yrs)

We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist with expertise in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tool development and integration to join our AI and data engineering team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining high-performance data pipelines, optimizing data extraction, transformation, and loading processes, and contributing to the AI-driven automation and analytics framework within Ascent.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines to support AI and data processing workflows.

- Work with structured and unstructured data to extract insights and improve AI models.

- Optimize and scale ETL frameworks for data ingestion, transformation, and storage.

- Integrate various ETL tools (such as Apache Airflow, Talend, Informatica) into AI models and data ecosystems.

- Collaborate with AI engineers to ensure seamless data integration for AI model training and deployment.

- Implement data governance, security, and compliance measures within ETL processes.

- Work with large-scale data architectures (cloud-based or on-premises) and implement performance tuning.

- Identify automation opportunities to enhance AI-driven decision-making and optimize workflows.

- Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline and AI integration challenges.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, AI, or a related field.

- 2+ years of experience in data science, data engineering, or ETL development.

- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and ETL tool frameworks (such as Apache NiFi, Airflow, Talend, or custom ETL development).

- Experience with AI/ML model data pipelines and data preprocessing.

- Expertise in working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, etc.)

- Knowledge of big data processing frameworks (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, etc.) is a plus.

- Strong understanding of APIs, data governance, and compliance regulations.

- Experience in automating data workflows and integrating AI with ETL solutions.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Hands-on experience in building custom ETL solutions for AI applications.

- Understanding of AI-driven automation and intelligent data processing.

- Experience in deploying AI models in production environments with efficient data pipelines.

- Knowledge of MLOps and AI model lifecycle management is an advantage
