Manager/Senior Manager - Retail Expansions - Retail/eCommerce (5-10 yrs)

Job Summary:

- We are seeking a skilled and versatile Retail Expansion Manager to drive the growth of our retail network while ensuring exceptional interior design and store layout standards.

- This role involves identifying new market opportunities, managing site acquisitions, overseeing store openings, and collaborating on design and interior implementation to deliver high-quality retail environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct market research to identify high-potential locations for retail expansion.

- Evaluate the feasibility and profitability of new locations and prepare detailed reports for decision-making.

- Negotiate leases and contracts with landlords, brokers, and developers.

- Collaborate with architects and interior designers to develop store layouts that optimize space and reflect the brand's identity.

- Oversee the selection of materials, finishes, and furniture to maintain quality and design consistency.

- Manage the entire store opening process, including budgeting, timelines, and resource allocation.

- Supervise construction and interior fit-outs to ensure timely and high-quality execution.

- Work with contractors, suppliers, and vendors to streamline store development projects.

- Coordinate with merchandising and marketing teams to align store interiors with product display and customer experience goals.

- Monitor the performance of newly opened stores and recommend improvements in layout and interior design.

- Prepare and present progress reports and key metrics to senior leadership.

- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

- Travel extensively to oversee site visits, construction progress, and store launches.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Retail Management, Architecture, or related fields (MBA preferred).

- 5+ years of experience in retail expansion, project management, or interior design coordination.

- Strong knowledge of retail real estate processes, location assessment, and market dynamics.

- Proficiency in design tools and software, as well as project management tools.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
