Finance Analyst - eCommerce (2-4 yrs)

Job Summary:

We are hiring a skilled and detail-oriented Finance Analyst for our client, a fast-growing e-commerce startup based in New Delhi. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis and reporting, with strong proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and Advanced Excel. This role is pivotal in leveraging data to drive strategic decisions and supporting the company's rapid growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis & Reporting:

- Analyze key financial metrics to assess business performance.

- Prepare and present detailed financial reports, dashboards, and forecasts to stakeholders.

Data Management & Insights:

- Design and develop interactive dashboards in Power BI for performance tracking and decision-making.

- Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL to identify trends and opportunities.

- Use Advanced Excel tools (macros, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) for financial modeling and scenario analysis.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure alignment with business goals.

- Monitor variances and provide actionable recommendations for cost optimization.

Strategic Support:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with business objectives.

- Provide ad hoc analysis and insights to support decision-making.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

- 2-4 years of experience in a finance or data analysis role, preferably within the e-commerce or startup environment.

- Proficiency in Power BI for dashboard creation and data visualization.

- Strong working knowledge of SQL for data querying and analysis.

- Expertise in Advanced Excel functions (macros, pivot tables, formulas, etc.).

- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey financial insights effectively.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience working in the e-commerce or technology sector.

- Familiarity with ERP systems and financial modeling tools.

- Knowledge of Python or R for advanced data analysis (optional).
