Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Treasury to oversee fund raising, debt syndication, financial planning, lender relations, structured finance, and compliance.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial modeling, credit appraisal, and treasury management.
This is a leadership role requiring the ability to manage and mentor a high-performing treasury team.
Key Responsibilities:
Fund Raising & Debt Syndication:
- Lead debt syndication, structured financing, and capital raising from banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions.
- Identify lenders, negotiate terms, and execute transactions, including Term Loans, NCDs, CPs, Pass-Through Certificates (PTCs), and Working Capital Lines.
- Conduct financial due diligence, risk analysis, and credit appraisal for lending decisions.
Financial Planning & Treasury Management:
- Develop and manage financial models, CMA data, and business valuations.
- Monitor asset-liability management (ALM), loan repayments, and covenant compliance.
- Build and maintain strong CXO-level relationships with banks, NBFCs, and market participants.
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of treasury professionals, ensuring effective collaboration and performance.
- Drive strategic decision-making within the treasury function and provide guidance to senior leadership.
Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure regulatory compliance with RBI guidelines, credit risk management, and structured finance regulations.
- Prepare TEV reports, investor presentations, and financial MIS reports.
- Track funding pipeline, borrowing costs, and financial performance metrics.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Expertise in corporate finance, structured finance, and debt capital markets.
- Strong banking relationships, lender negotiations, and risk assessment skills.
- Hands-on experience in fund raising, financial modeling, and working capital management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and negotiation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA (Finance) or Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred.
- Prior experience in NBFC lending, investment banking, or corporate treasury.
