Job Description
- Responsible for setting up and maintenance of field laboratory and review the testing of materials for their compliance as specified in contract document, inspection and test plan as per IS, IRC, ASTM & BS Codes.
- Responsible of finalization & approval of Mix designs (Structural Concrete, DLC, PQC, GSB, WMM, DBM & BC mix).
- Testing & finalization of all raw material i.e. Aggregate, Soil, Cement, Admixture, Steel, Bitumen, Emulsion, Hume Pipe etc.
- Responsible for planning for project activities and manage the construction work including site measurements, reviewing designs & drawings and approval from Client / Consultants.
- Participating in project review meetings with Project Manager, Team Leader & Sub-Contractor etc. for evaluating project progress & de-bottlenecking.
- Responsible of all material testing / works as per approved inspection and test plan.
- Interact with Client & Consultants regarding material selection / testing / mix design, approval and proper record keeping.
- Review of the design and drawings submitted by the design consultant and incorporating the value addition.
- Coordinate with execution team, Consultant & Client during testing of materials / works and recommended necessary corrective and preventive action to control the non-confirming product / works.
- Preparation & analysis of the daily progress reports and implementing the quality effective methods and improving the productivity efficiency.
Qualification: B-Tech/BE(Civil)
