Job Description
- Perform analytical and chemical testing of dyes and chemicals.
- Prepare standard solutions and maintain a standardization register on a monthly basis.
- Execute the Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) plan for all chemical and analytical equipment.
- Maintain sample storage and related records systematically.
- Ensure contamination-free handling of instruments, labware, and digester systems for effective analysis.
- Liaise with the QA lab for QA-32 clearance.
- Prepare dyes and chemicals worksheets based on functionality and testing parameters.
- Allocate worksheets based on sample priority (first sample or routine sample for testing).
- Conduct routine tests, special tests, and departmental-specified studies as per user requirements.
- Coordinate with stores and the lab for QA clearance.
- Troubleshoot specific analysis-related cases in collaboration with users to resolve technical issues.
- Identify suitable sample conditions for heavy metal testing on the digester.
- Prepare samples for heavy metal testing on the digester, followed by ICP-MS analysis.
- Execute application-based trials and studies under project charters for cost optimization.
