Position Name: NOC Engineer – L2 & L3

Job Location: Remote (Remote – India)


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Resolve Complex Tickets: Efficiently handle and resolve technical issues across all levels (L2 & L3) with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Direct Client Communication: Engage with USA clients to understand their technical issues, provide solutions, and ensure smooth communication throughout the process.
  • Rotational Shifts: Work in a rotational shift pattern (including weekends, midnight, and mid-day shifts) to provide continuous support coverage.
  • Backup Management: Hands-on experience with configuring & monitoring backups for production servers using tools like Datto and Acronis.
  • Firewall Security: Manage and troubleshoot Sophos Firewall and related security procedures to ensure network integrity.
  • Automation Tools: Leverage tools like Kaseya VSA and Auto Task Automate to streamline tasks and improve operational efficiency.
  • Ticket Management: Monitor incoming tickets, prioritize and assign tasks, and ensure timely resolution to meet SLA standards.
  • Resource Allocation: Ensure the right resources are assigned to tasks with appropriate time and information to deliver effective support.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with clients, support teams, and management to resolve issues and avoid scheduling conflicts.
  • Service Board Management: Eliminate overdue and unassigned tickets from the service boards to maintain smooth operations.

Skills and Experience:

  • 4+ Years of Experience with Strong background in troubleshooting networks and diagnosing issues related to TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
  • Operating System Expertise: Solid experience working with Microsoft Windows operating systems.
  • Managed Services Provider (MSP) Experience: Experience working in an MSP environment, providing technical support to clients.
  • Certifications: Relevant technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft) are preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong telephony and active listening skills for effective client interactions.
  • Multitasking Ability: Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing environments quickly.
  • Technical Awareness: Deep understanding of technical issues and ability to match resources accordingly.
  • Typing Skills: Quick and accurate service request entry.
  • Self-Motivated: Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
