Division/Department: Sales
Reports to: Area Sales Manager
Purpose of the position:
- He generates business and achievement of target in assigned area through channel partners.
- He will manage General Trade distribution and achieve assigned area distribution target.
Main responsibilities:
- To achieve volume and value objectives of the assigned territory
- Executing the agreed strategic alliances with key retailers and chain stores
- Operating all Schemes & Promotional Activities (Marketing & Sales) as per prior approvals
- Documentation of outlet expenses (damages, trade schemes, promotional expenses, visibility expenses) on a monthly basis
- Settling distributor and outlet claims (within stipulated timeframe)
- Ensure distributors appointment in assigned area and evaluate the performance of the distributors
- Responsible for controlling dominant shelf space in Baby Trade / General Trade outlets and ensure gold standard merchandising (display/ visibility) by executing set planogram.
- Maintain a database of all assigned territory (administrative, commercial, business details)
- Meet all reporting schedules to ensuring accuracy of information
Skills:
- Sales experience and relevant in day to day sales operations
- Should have relevant skills to manage and build relationships with retailers and channel partners
- Good presentation skills
- Good commercial sense and should be comfortable with numbers
- Knowledge of Windows, Excel and Power Point
