Structural Manager (Design)

Responsibilities

• Design

Manage the design of precast concrete components, such as slabs, beams, columns, walls, and stairways

• Construction

Oversee the construction of precast concrete components, including fabrication of forms, mix design, and finishing

• Quality control

Ensure that precast concrete components meet architectural specifications and other requirements

• Project management

Collaborate with project teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

• Production scheduling

Establish and manage production schedules, and conduct daily production meetings

• Cost control

Implement cost-effective systems to control capital, operating expenditures, and manpower

• Safety

Ensure that safety and security procedures are followed

Skills

• Knowledge of precast concrete components and construction methods
• Ability to collaborate with other managers and project teams
• Ability to analyze loads and pressures
• Ability to use computer-aided design software
