Job Title : SIEM Implementation Engineer (Sumologic & QRadar)

Job Type : Full-Time

Experience : 8-15 years

Location : Hyderabad, Telangana

Required Skills & Experience:

Experience in implementing and managing SIEM solutions, with a strong focus on Sumologic and QRadar.
In-depth knowledge of security information and event management concepts, methodologies, and technologies.
Proficient in log management, threat detection, incident response, and security monitoring.
Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, etc.) for automation and customization within SIEM environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, etc.) are a plus.
Familiarity with compliance standards (PCI DSS, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.) and their impact on SIEM implementation.
Knowledge of network security principles and practices.
Experience with cloud security and SIEM solutions in cloud environments.

Responsibilities:

SIEM Implementation: Lead the deployment and configuration of Sumologic and QRadar SIEM solutions, ensuring they meet organizational requirements and security best practices.
Integration: Integrate various data sources, including servers, applications, and network devices, into the SIEM platforms for comprehensive visibility.
Log Management: Configure log collection, parsing, and normalization to ensure accurate data ingestion and analysis.
Monitoring and Analysis: Develop and implement monitoring strategies, alerting mechanisms, and dashboards to provide actionable insights into security events and incidents.
Incident Response: Collaborate with incident response teams to investigate security incidents, providing necessary data and insights for effective resolution.
Documentation: Create and maintain documentation related to SIEM configurations, processes, and procedures.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to internal teams on SIEM usage, best practices, and incident response processes.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and trends in cybersecurity to continuously improve SIEM configurations and effectiveness.
