Site Reliability Engineer - IaaS/PaaS (6-13 yrs)

Job Title - Site Reliability Engineer

Experience- 6+ Years

Location - Faridabad/Mumbai

Primary Skills - AWS, Azure, Apache/linux/Nginx/Nodejs, SQL

Educational background - Any Computer/Engineering degree

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Responsible for designing & implementing infrastructure for delivering and running web and mobile applications.

- Responsible for high availability of large infrastructure predominately on AWS (IaaS&PaaS) and Traditional data center environment.

- Virtualization project based on Citrix XenServer - deployment and administration of hypervisor and virtual servers leveraging Linux.

- Managing Backup for all the servers within the Infra in a particular time frame to meet business SLA's.

- Install and configure NoSQL Databases (Cassandra, mongodb) and setup cluster.

- Setup & maintenance of Apache servers (on Amazon Linux2), MySQL databases, and prog ramming general task- completing scripts.

- Developing a backup/recovery plan for all servers in preparation for hardware failure and penetration from outside sources.

- Setup OSSEC Server (host-based intrusion detection system (HIDS))

- Setup OpenVAS(Open Vulnerability Assessment System)

- Having knowledge about DB2 backup and restoration.

- Deploying of applications on servers

- Basic knowledge of node version & deployment requirements

Technical Skills Required :

- Amazon Cloud: - EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Route53, IAM, ELB, Cloud Watch & AWS CLI, Security Group

- Azure Cloud : - VM Creation, Load Balancer, Application Gateway, Storage account, VNET, Resource

Group, Network Security Group

- Deploying of applications on servers like NGINX, Apache, NodeJS

- MySQL Database and MySQL Replication
