Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Execution
- Develop and execute, with the help of management, a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company's business goals and revenue targets.
- Identify and explore new business opportunities, market segments, and partnerships to drive expansion and growth in key industries and regions.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to create go-to-market strategies for new product launches and drive customer engagement.
Team Leadership and Development :
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, ensuring they are motivated and equipped to meet and exceed sales targets
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to foster growth and accountability
Revenue Growth and Forecasting :
- Own the overall revenue target and ensure consistent achievement or over-achievement of sales quotas.
- Accurately forecast sales performance, pipeline development, and revenue, providing regular reports and insights to the sales head and senior management.
- Identify risks in the pipeline and work proactively to address potential challenges in closing deals
Customer Relationship Management :
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty through regular engagement, solution consultation, and problem resolution.
- Act as an escalation point for high-value clients or complex negotiations to ensure customer success and satisfaction.
Market Analysis and Competitor Intelligence :
- Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to stay ahead of the bmarket and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Provide insights and feedback to product development teams based on customer feedback and market demand to drive innovation and product enhancements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred) in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software sales, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or director-level role.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a B2B software solutions environment
- Strong understanding of enterprise software sales, SaaS business models, and long-cycle sales processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Experience managing and developing high-performance sales teams.
