We are hiring a Trainer to support enterprise development and capacity building for grassroots women-led businesses in Assam for one of our esteemed clients. The ideal candidate should have 4+ years of experience in training and development, particularly in business, financial management, and leadership training.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct training sessions in Assamese on business management, financial literacy, governance, leadership, entrepreneurship, sales, and digital marketing.
Develop training modules and interactive materials tailored to the needs of grassroots women entrepreneurs.
Design pre- and post-training assessments to measure learning outcomes and effectiveness.
Document training efforts, feedback, and insights for continuous improvement.
Collaborate with various stakeholders, including Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs) and women-led enterprises.
Travel across Assam ( 10-15 days per month ), initially focusing on Kamrup Rural district.
Candidate Requirements
Must-Have: Fluent in spoken & written Assamese . Minimum 4 years of experience in training and capacity building. Strong documentation and analytical skills. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint . Ability to simplify complex business concepts for rural communities. Enthusiastic, adaptable, and eager to learn.
Preferred: Experience working with Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs) in Assam . Prior involvement in Agri-business and Rural Transformation projects .

Reports to: Enterprise Coordinator (Assam) .
Works closely with: Operations Associate & Accountant .
Collaborates with: Training partners & central team .
