Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Data and AI to lead the organization's data strategy and artificial intelligence initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving data-driven decision-making, developing AI-based solutions, and creating a culture of innovation. This role involves overseeing data governance, analytics, AI development, and ensuring alignment with business objectives to deliver measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Strategy and Governance

• Develop and implement a comprehensive data and AI strategy aligned with business goals.
• Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Define and oversee the enterprise data architecture, tools, and technologies.

Leadership and Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of data scientists, analysts, engineers, and AI specialists.
• Foster collaboration across departments to promote data and AI adoption throughout the organization.
• Build and maintain partnerships with external stakeholders, vendors, and academia for innovation.

Artificial Intelligence and Analytics

• Identify opportunities to leverage AI, machine learning (ML), and advanced analytics to solve business challenges.
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML models and solutions.
• Drive the adoption of predictive and prescriptive analytics to support decision-making.

Data Operations and Insights

• Ensure the scalability and performance of data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes.
• Lead the development of dashboards, KPIs, and metrics for real-time business insights.
• Monitor emerging trends and advancements in AI, ML, and big data technologies to ensure a competitive edge.

Business Alignment and Impact

• Act as a key advisor to senior leadership on data-driven decision-making.
• Define measurable business outcomes for AI initiatives and ensure ROI on data investments.
• Support strategic initiatives such as digital transformation, customer personalization, and operational efficiency through AI and data solutions.

Qualifications and Experience:

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, or related fields.

Experience:

• Minimum 10–15 years of experience in data and analytics, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
• Proven expertise in data governance, data engineering, and AI/ML deployment at scale.
• Experience in managing cross-functional teams and large-scale projects.

Skills:

• Deep understanding of data platforms, cloud computing, AI/ML tools, and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hadoop, Spark).
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
• Strong business acumen with the ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of ethical AI practices and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
