Assistant Vice President - Financial Planning & Analysis - Insurance (10-15 yrs)

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and oversee the financial planning and analysis activities of the general insurance business.

- Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives and business decisions. Deep understanding of GI products and business models, good understanding of loss ratios, cost of acquisition and industry trends.

- Provide insightful and actionable financial analysis to guide the company's financial strategy.

- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes - channel, product, LOB, branch wise margins or profitability reports.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial plans with business objectives.

- Present financial insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders, including industry benchmarking and analysis.

- Supervise and mentor a team of financial analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

- Oversee capital management, ensuring optimal capital allocation and compliance with regulatory requirements, especially solvency management.

- Drive reinsurance strategy for P&L and capital management perspective.
