Job Description

Typically requires BSc Computer Science or equivalent plus 5-8 years of relevant work experience. Advanced degree strongly preferred.
Cisco certifications (CCNP, CCIE etc.) would be highly desirable.

REQUIRED SKILLS (SDA)
Experience with product lines like Catalyst 9000/3850/6800. Engineer must be experienced in and have internal product and/or Architecture knowledge.
Working knowledge and experience on LISP, BGP, OSPF, ISIS, Multicast, vrf-lite, VXLAN, CTS, dot1x, spanning tree
Knowledge on any industry SDN solution
A good communications skill is a must. Must have a demonstrated ability to relate to customer representatives at various levels.
Must have good technical writing skills and have experience in writing test and implementation / Migration plans.
Skills and experience in working independently.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork needed

DESIRED SKILLS (SDA)
[Good to have or value add to this role]
Hands on experience on DNAC is highly desirable
Experience on Nexus 7K
Working knowledge and experience on LISP, ISIS, CTS
Knowledge of basic network security concepts.
Basic understanding of Python, Working knowledge of Cisco SDA solution is desirable
