GENERAL SUMMARY ArisGlobal is looking for a Tax Manager to join a Global Tax Compliance team. The ideal candidate will have experience with team management, Indian Statutory compliance, Indian tax compliance including both indirect and direct taxes, global VAT, global transfer pricing and excellent communication skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Own, manage and co-ordinate direct tax compliance filing of India and foreign entities (India, China, Japan and Europe) with the assistance from third party consultants.
- Manage multiple third-party service providers to complete global compliance, VAT compliance and various global consulting.
- Plan and coordinate with financial audits for India required for 12/31 and 3/31.
- Own and manage the Local and international monthly closure activities of global consolidation (journal entries, reconciliations, and analysis).
- Manage global estimated tax payment process.
- Manage global tax compliance for both direct and indirect taxes.
- Manage a team of two employees and report directly to Tax Senior Manager in the US.
- Strong team management skills.
- Strong communication skills with both internal and external teams.
- 10+ years of experience.
- Excellent communications skills (including verbal and written English).
- Ability to communicate across multiple business functions at all levels.
- Flexibility in working with teams in various time zones; and ability to coordinate often with US teams.
- Inter (CA, CS, CMA), MBA, MCOM and CPA.
- 10+ years of experience.
