Technical Consultant - Zilliant CPQ

JOB SUMMARY:

A Technical Consultant at Argano is responsible for assisting with designing, developing, and maintaining software or systems and gives technical advice to small through Enterprise-size clientsusing Arganos professional services and solutions.

They assist the development team on complex projects, ensuring adhering to schedule and scope. They have between 2 and 5 years of experience and take on more challenging responsibilities.

They have an understanding of programming concepts and can work independently and closely with other team members on medium to large-sized projects or work streams.

This role involves implementing technical solutions and assisting with the analysis/design phase of the system development life cycle to develop user requirements and determine best business/technical solutions to meet those needs.

They ensure successful implementation of results by supporting users in system testing and execution of data conversions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Works on problems of small to moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine and take appropriate action. Builds productive internal/external working relationships.
• Assists with analyzing small to large-size client requirements and provides ideas for designs of comprehensive technical solutions.
• Assists with the Design and implementation of solutions. Helps gather and analyze requirements with business owners and organizes discussions and infrastructure requirement analysis to meet the defined business criteria.
• Works closely with team members on the development of the Zilliant CPQ application and assists with necessary integrations. Participates in the discovery meetings to learn what data will be flowing between systems and the best way to organize and store that data in the project applications.
• Participates in meetings with Project Managers and other team members to determine client needs and implements the Zilliant CPQ application.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
• Relevant coursework or certifications in programming or software development.

EXPERIENCE:

• 2+ years of Technical Consultant experience or in related field.
• Experience implementing Zilliant CPQ software and integrations or administering Zilliant CPQ sites.
• Knowledge of working with technical solutions leveraging version control and adherence to life cycle management best practices for code promotion.
• Previous work experience with programming, coding and/or software development.

• Documentation: Proficiency in documenting code, functional requirements, and system architecture to facilitate maintenance and collaboration.
• Leadership:Experience taking control of tasks assigned to them (collaborating with teammates when needed) and completing them in a given timeline.
• Zilliant CPQ: Experience implementing Zilliant CPQ on small to large-size projects or acting as administrator for a Zilliant CPQ site.
• Communication: Clear and effective communication, both written and verbal, is essential for collaborating with team members and conveying findings to clients. Proficient in English.
