Job Description

The ASM acts as the primary representative of VidyutTech (VT) for all stakeholders within the zone and is required to spend up to 65% of the time in the field , ensuring effective market engagement, team management, and customer interaction.
Key Responsibilities :
  1. Growth Management :
    • Lead and support TSMs to develop and increase VT wallet share in both the dealer and fleet operator channels across the zone.
    • Identify new growth opportunities, develop sales strategies, and ensure targets are met through consistent monitoring and support.
    • Provide guidance and motivation to TSMs to ensure they are meeting sales goals and expanding VTfootprint in the zone.
    • Market Strategy :
      • Develop a comprehensive understanding of market dynamics , competitor activities, and customer needs within the zone.
      • Propose and implement effective sales strategies for the zone, working towards achieving profitable growth and a sustainable PL.
      • Collaborate with senior leadership to align regional strategies with the companybroader goals.
      • Customer Experience Management :
        • Work closely with Operations TLs and Cluster Executives to ensure a smooth and efficient customer onboarding and disbursal process .
        • Ensure that the customer experience is seamless , from initial login to final disbursal, maintaining high standards of customer service.
        • Address any issues or escalations promptly to improve the customer journey and ensure customer satisfaction.
        • Collections Management :
          • Collaborate with the collections team to ensure that collection targets for the zone are met, with an emphasis on efficiency and accuracy.
          • Regularly monitor and track collections performance, providing support to the team in identifying and addressing potential risks or challenges.
          • Implement corrective actions when necessary to optimize the collections process and improve collection outcomes.
          • Team Building and Management :
            • Lead and manage a team of TSMs , Ops TLs , and Cluster Executives , focusing on team development, performance, and motivation.
            • Foster a positive team culture aligned with VT values , ensuring high morale, discipline, and a collaborative working environment.
            • Provide ongoing coaching and development to team members to help them reach their full potential and meet their KPIs.
            • VT Brand Ownership :
              • Act as the primary representative of VT in the zone, ensuring brand consistency and visibility through marketing activities.
              • Work closely with the Marketing team to implement and execute brand awareness campaigns and BTL activities that promote VTproducts and services.
              • Build strong relationships with dealers , customers , and partners , positioning VT as the preferred choice in the market.
              • Field Work and Implementation :
                • Regularly engage in field visits to monitor performance, provide on-the-ground support, and ensure strategy execution at the local level.
                • Generate new ideas and actionable insights through field work, which can be used to improve sales performance and customer engagement.
                • Implement company strategies at the ground level by motivating and instructing the team to ensure maximum efficiency and morale.
                  Skills Background Required :
                  1. Minimum Experience :
                    • 4 years of sales experience in industries such as Insurance , Edutech , Financial Institutions , or similar.
                    • OR
                    • MBA with Sales Marketing as a major and 4-6 years of experience in a relevant sales management role.
                    • OR
                    • Graduates (BBA, BCom, BSc) with 7-10 years of experience in sales, including managing teams and driving growth.
                    • Education :
                      • Minimum Graduate/Post Graduate (MBA is an advantage but not mandatory).
                      • Key Skills Competencies :
                        • Leadership and Team Management : Ability to lead, develop, and manage large teams effectively, ensuring high performance and motivation.
                        • Excellent Communication Negotiation Skills : Ability to communicate clearly and negotiate effectively with dealers, customers, and partners.
                        • Relationship Management : Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
                        • Strategic Thinking and Planning : Strong ability to develop market strategies, assess risks, and implement solutions to drive growth and profitability.
                        • Market Knowledge : Deep understanding of the local market, industry trends, and customer behavior.
                        • Planning and Organizational Skills : Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and deliver results in a timely manner.
                        • Travel Location Requirements :
                          • Willingness to travel up to 65% of the time within the zone to visit dealers, fleet operators, and customers.
                          • Must be based in the zone for at least 2 years and have strong knowledge of the local market.
                          • Preferred Experience :
                            • Experience in managing a team of 15 or more people.
                            • Prior experience in sales management and PL responsibility .
                            • Experience in working with both dealer channels and fleet operator channels .
                              Additional Responsibilities :
                              • Documentation Reporting :
                                • Maintain detailed and accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and team performance.
                                • Submit regular reports to senior management, highlighting key sales metrics, challenges, and opportunities within the zone.
                                • Training and Development :
                                  • Conduct training and development sessions for the sales team to ensure they are well-equipped with the skills, knowledge, and tools to succeed.
                                  • Serve as a mentor to junior team members, providing guidance and support to help them reach their potential.
                                    Performance Metrics / KPIs :
                                    • PL Management : Effective management of the zonePL to ensure profitability and growth.
                                    • Sales Targets : Achievement of growth targets and sales KPIs within the dealer and fleet operator channels.
                                    • Customer Satisfaction : High levels of customer satisfaction, as measured by feedback and service metrics.
                                    • Team Performance : Effective management of the sales team, ensuring achievement of team goals and maintaining high morale.
                                    • Collection Efficiency : Achievement of collection targets within the zone, with a focus on minimizing delinquency.
                                    • Brand Visibility : Successful execution of VT branding and marketing activities in the zone, increasing visibility and brand awareness.
                                      Job Location :
                                      • Based in [Lucknow] , covering the assigned zone .
