Job Description

Role & responsibilities

This role involves working closely with channel partners, distributors, dealers, and other intermediaries to maximize sales and market reach.

Channel Development:

Identify and evaluate potential channel partners, distributors, and dealers.

Develop strategies to expand the company's distribution network and reach new markets.

Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing channel partners.

Provide support, training, and resources to ensure the success of channel partners.

Address any issues or concerns raised by channel partners promptly.

Sales Planning and Target Achievement:

Collaborate with channel partners to set sales targets and goals.

Develop sales plans and strategies to achieve targets and maximize revenue.

Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement.

Product Knowledge and Training

Ensure that channel partners are well-informed about the company's steel products.

Provide training sessions to channel partners on product features, specifications, and benefits.

Keep channel partners updated on new product launches and changes in product offerings.

Market Intelligence:

Gather and analyze market intelligence to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.

Use market insights to make informed decisions on pricing, promotions, and product positioning.

Negotiation and Contract Management:

Negotiate terms and agreements with channel partners to ensure mutual benefit.

Manage contracts and agreements with channel partners, outlining expectations, terms, and conditions.

Collaboration with Internal Teams:

Work closely with the marketing, production, and logistics teams to coordinate efforts and ensure smooth operations.

Provide feedback from the market to help improve products, services, and overall business strategies.

Customer Support:

Assist channel partners in resolving customer queries, concerns, and issues.

Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing issues promptly and effectively.

Reporting and Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of sales activities, performance metrics, and market feedback.

Prepare regular reports for management, summarizing sales performance, market trends, and other relevant information.


Required Candidate profile:

  • Min 5+ years of experience in sales
  • Fluent in English and Regional Language
  • Having own conveyance like motorbike or scooter
  • Well-groomed and pleasing appearance
  • Willingness to travel to other cities.
  • Well versed with computers and MS office package
  • Age 25 years to 42 years
  • Gender - Male
