Plant Head/Operations Head (Lead Manufacturing Industry Only)

Greetings!!

We are looking for Plant Head/Operations Head for Tirupati location.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Good Practices

• Regular early morning checking weight and number of pieces in Incoming RML/MM and packed and unpacked Finished Good
• Regular early morning checking physically available stock of plate/paste any WIP and cross checking the same in Busy

Raw Material Management and Procurement

• Management of scrap no material should be left un used after the month end
• RML and MM procurement through HO at the rates which are within budget
• Develop RML/MM purchase competency at Plant Level

Cost Management and Control

• Ensure inventory levels are kept within range so that interest cost are below the stated figures in BP
• Production is done efficiently so that the production cost is within the BP cost

Operational Excellence

• Develop and manage internal & external processes and functions to support the SBU/Plant, without losing sight of the imperative to continuous growth and scaling the organization in an aggressive manner for next levels of performance
• Keep control on Operative cost of SBU/Plant to ensure better gross margin and profitability through enhancement of processes, cost optimization projects and innovation
• Building and execution of an effective supply chain management model to sustain tenacity of aggressive business growth requirement of SBU/Plant

Project and Process Management

• Prepare expansion, modification and improvisation Project Plan in such a manner that all projects are delivered on time and there is no revenue loss due to delay in project execution
• Guide Project Team to Identify and Maintain right Machine and Technology which will help to produce quality lead alloys in efficient manner

Manufacturing Excellence

• Build the world class Lead Alloy manufacturing facilities as per the current business requirement
• Lead the capacity enhancement for future business objectives and also be able to accommodate new Lead Alloy products line in short span of time
• Design complete Production process based on lean manufacturing process management to improve efficiencies and optimization of available resources and ensure having tenacity to sustain aggressive growth.

Quality Excellence

• Drive ISO and other quality standards to improve the quality of products and manufacturing system as per the global lead manufacturing standard
• Study different global quality standards and competitors benchmark and drive quality team to bring required changes in existing products and ensure same standards have been maintained in new products launch

Maintenance and Development

• Keep control on preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance,
• Indirect involvements in maintenance activities required for production and operation in plant.
• Develops preventive maintenance program for the Plant.

Regular Domestic Purchase Management

• Develop Regular Domestic Purchase team at Plant
• Ensure regular domestic purchases are done directly from Plant
• Ensure regular domestic purchases are done on the same or better prices and there is no delay in delivery of material which may cause delay or loss of production

Safety & Compliances

• Responsible all safety equipment are placed as per the standards and statutory compliances
• All Health, Safety and environment related certification have been completed and there is no NC during any internal or external audits.
• Sufficient availability of personal protection equipment (PPE) in plant and ensure all the people on production are using them (especially mask, helmet and safety shoes)
• Should be Open for 12 hours Duty
• Hiring from Battery Recycling-Lead Industry Only.
