Archimedis Digital - Financial Controller - CA (5-7 yrs)

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to oversee the financial operations of Archimedis Group companies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of the business, ensuring compliance, reporting financial performance, and driving effective budgeting and forecasting processes across multiple global entities.

The Financial Controller will work closely with senior management to support strategic decision-making and improve financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Accounting:

- Oversee the preparation and timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS.

- Manage all accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, revenue recognition, etc.

- Ensure accurate and compliant reporting according to relevant accounting standards.

- Monitor financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.

- Coordinate the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

- Lead the preparation of the annual budget and long-term financial forecasts.

- Collaborate with departmental heads to understand business needs and adjust financial plans accordingly.

- Monitor variances between budgeted and actual results, providing actionable insights to improve performance.

Cash Flow Management:

- Manage cash flow and working capital to ensure the business has sufficient liquidity for operations.

- Oversee accounts payable and receivable to maintain healthy financial operations.

- Develop and implement cash flow forecasting models.

Internal Controls & Compliance:

- Design and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and industry-specific guidelines.

- Implement processes and systems to improve operational efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance.

- Ensure corporate compliance in coordination with CS and other external stakeholder.

- Oversee preparation and maintenance of client and vendor contracts.

Cost Control & Profitability Analysis:

- Conduct financial analysis to identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement.

- Work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improving profitability.

- Develop pricing strategies and models for various services offered by the IT company.

Team Leadership & Development:

- Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring professional growth and a high standard of work.

- Develop training programs to enhance the financial knowledge and skills of team members.

Strategic Support:

- Partner with the executive team to drive business strategy, providing financial insights for key decisions.

- Participate in corporate finance activities such as mergers, acquisitions, and investments.

Digitalization:

- Implement digitalization strategies across finance, accounting and operations.

- Support and drive the team to adopt and migrate to advanced digital solutions.

Qualifications:

- CA with proven experience (5+ years) as a Financial Controller, Finance Manager, or similar role in an IT or technology-based company.

- Strong understanding of Indian Accounting Standards and IGAAP.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis.

- Experience with financial systems and software (e., ERP, QuickBooks, or similar).

- In-depth knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance standards relevant to the IT industry.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide actionable insights.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills to interact with senior management and cross-functional teams.
