Job Summary.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Furniture Merchandiser/Sourcing Manager to lead sourcing efforts, build strong supplier relationships, and ensure the best pricing, quality, and timely delivery of products.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of furniture sourcing, exceptional negotiation skills, and the ability to stay updated on market trends.

Key Responsibilities.

Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable furniture manufacturers and suppliers globally.

Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.

Conduct market research to stay informed about furniture industry trends, materials, and design innovations.

Oversee the procurement process, from product development and sampling to production and delivery.

Ensure all sourced products meet quality standards and client specifications.

Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery schedules with suppliers.

Collaborate with internal teams to fulfill project and client requirements effectively.

Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and manage supply chain operations.

Analyze costs and recommend cost-saving measures without compromising quality.

Qualifications And Skills.

Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, Interior Design, or a related field.

Minimum of 4 years of experience in furniture merchandising, sourcing, or a related role.

Strong understanding of the furniture and interior design industry, including materials and manufacturing processes.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Proficiency in sourcing tools, procurement software, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Knowledge of international trade, import/export regulations, and logistics is a plus.
