Medical Writer

Role & responsibilities

• Creating written content that is medically correct yeteasy-to-understand and engaging to the relevant target audience. Medical content that can be used across various mediums/platforms like Website, Blogs, Social Media Posts, Email/SMS/Whatsapp, GMB, FAQs, Q&As, Process notes, Print Collaterals (Brochures, Leaflets, Posters, Presentations etc.), Video Scripts, Speech, Press Notes etc. to support business and brand initiatives

Required Skills

• Writing Expertise: Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to adapt writing style to different audiences and platforms. Professional level command over English and Hindi, additional language is a plus especially south Indian languages
• Content Creation: Experience creating various content formats, including blog posts, social media content, website copy, and marketing materials
• Research: Ability to conduct thorough research to gather information and support content development
• Collaboration: Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with the different stake holders within or outside of organisation like: creative team, performance team, medical team, external third-party agencies/partners etc.
• Time Management: Effective time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
• Compliance: Ensure all content complies with healthcare regulations, patient privacy laws (HIIPAA), and ethical guideline

Desired Skills

• Working knowledge of SEO, SEO best practices, keywords research and SEO based writing
• Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Word & Power Point)
• Working knowledge of tools like Grammarly, Copyscape etc.

• Strong communications and presentation skills
• Strong ability to understand business requirements quickly and translating them into an easy-to-consume format for external world

Experience &Academics

• Min 4-5 years of experience in a reputed Healthcare/HealthTech company, Content Marketing or Digital Marketing agency as a content writer handling medical/healthcare clients
• A formal medical degree in BHMS or similar and strong knowledge of various ailments, their causes, symptoms, treatment processes etc.
• Proven experience in copywriting and content writing can be considered or currently in similar role
