Experience Required:

• Proven experience in the Real Estate Industry, with a strong focus on litigation and liaison.
• Minimum 10+ years of legal experience, with a track record of managing complex legal matters.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Litigation Management:
• Represent the company in legal disputes and court cases.
• Manage and coordinate with external legal counsels and advisors.
• Handle property-related litigation, contract disputes, and regulatory compliance issues.
2. Liaison and Compliance:
• Develop and maintain relationships with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and local stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with real estate laws, local regulations, and corporate policies.
• Address legal queries and resolve issues with government departments, including land acquisition, property approvals, and permits.
3. Contract and Documentation:
• Draft, review, and negotiate property-related agreements, joint venture agreements, lease deeds, and contracts.
• Ensure proper documentation for transactions and due diligence for properties.
4. Risk Management:
• Identify potential legal risks and provide proactive solutions.
• Guide the management on legal implications of decisions and projects.
• Mitigate risks in property acquisitions, sales, and developments.
5. Advisory Role:
• Provide legal advice to senior management on business transactions and company strategies.
• Keep abreast of the latest legal and regulatory developments affecting the real estate sector.
6. Team Leadership:
• Lead and mentor a team of legal professionals.
• Coordinate with internal departments to address legal concerns and ensure seamless project execution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Law
• Strong knowledge of real estate laws, including RERA, property registration, and land laws.
