Supplier Quality Engineer

Supplier Quality Engineer Job description:

• Drive a strong EHS, Nuclear Safety, CFSI, Quality, Compliance and Lean culture at supplier works.
• Drive continuous improvement to track key performance indicators (KPIs) e.g., Documentation and inspection FPY, on time delivery, NCR, Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) etc.
• Full implementation of Dir102, Dir104 during qualification,
• Driving Supplier Quality Improvement Programs to enhance supplier performance and base.
• Ensure implementation of proactive supplier audit program to minimize and ultimately eliminate product and process risk as well as customer and factory escapes.
• Coordinate with the ordering unit SQE for effective management of cross-region Purchase Orders and Product Qualifications.
• Maintaining detailed reports on supplier quality, including defect rates and areas that result in flaws.
• Conducting tests and assessments on products to identify quality issues in SMPs and E&I parts.
• Encourage a culture of support, cooperation, trust, and open reporting culture.
• Through knowledge of valve and Geno component manufacturing process. e.g., machining, brazing, special surface treatments, Heat treatment, Bar, and winding manufacturing etc.
• Hands on with inspection process e.g., NDT, GD&T, machining, type and routine test, electrical test etc.
• Hands on with lean tools e.g., FMEA, APQP, 8D/A3, VSM etc.
• Coordinate with sourcing, project quality and engineering during execution.
