The Role :

Data Center IT Infrastructure Subject Matter Expert (SME) - lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Private Cloud and Data Center virtualized solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Architecture & Design :

- Design scalable and reliable Private Cloud solutions tailored to business needs.

- Develop comprehensive architecture for Data Center virtualization using best practices and industry standards.

- Ensure alignment of infrastructure strategies with business objectives and future growth plans.

Implementation & Deployment :

- Lead end-to-end implementation of virtualization solutions, including VMware-based environments.

- Plan and execute migration strategies for on-premises or hybrid Data Centers.

- Provide technical expertise for deploying and configuring Solaris and AIX systems.

Data Center Migrations :

- Oversee complex Data Center migration projects, ensuring minimal disruption and adherence to timelines.

- Conduct assessments and create migration roadmaps for seamless transitions.

Operations & Optimization :

- Monitor and optimize Data Center performance for cost, efficiency, and reliability.

- Troubleshoot complex IT infrastructure issues and provide proactive solutions.

- Maintain detailed documentation for architecture, processes, and troubleshooting steps.

Stakeholder Management :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

- Provide training and mentorship to junior team members as needed.

Skills Required :

Experience : 8 to 12 years in IT infrastructure roles, with a strong focus on Data Center and Private Cloud solutions.

Technical Expertise :

- Proficiency in VMware technologies (vSphere, vSAN, vRealize Suite).

- Hands-on experience with Solaris and AIX platforms.

- Strong understanding of virtualization, storage, and networking concepts.

- Proven track record in designing and implementing Private Cloud architectures.

- DC Migration : Experience leading large-scale Data Center migration projects.

- Familiarity with automation tools and frameworks for IT infrastructure management is a plus.

- Industry certifications (e.g., VMware, ITIL, Solaris, AIX) are highly desirable.
