Supply Chain Executive

Job Summary:

As a Procurement & Logistics Executive, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process and managing logistics operations to ensure the efficient flow of goods and services within the organization. Your role will involve coordinating with suppliers, negotiating lead time/price/Order size, monitoring inventory levels, and optimizing transportation routes. Additionally, you will be tasked with evaluating vendor performance, analyzing market trends, and implementing cost-effective strategies to streamline procurement and logistics activities.

Responsibilities:

Procurement Management:

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine procurement needs and specifications.
• Sourcing and developing suppliers for new projects.
• Timely issuance of POs to vendors & co-ordination for delivery & payments.
• Weekly MRP (Material Requirement Planning) - Shortage Management, MOQ, SPQ, Safety time, Lead time, PR to PO, Order interval etc.
• Return to Vendor (RTO/RPO) process and Sales return accounting.
• Loading & Maintaining Item Master data (Prices, Item creation) in ERP.
• Secure and process necessary documentation to support the approval of Supplier invoices as required by purchase order.
• Evaluate supplier performance and conduct supplier audits to maintain quality standards.

Inventory Control:

• Achieving the monthly ITO target by maintaining the effective inventory balance.
• To meet desired service levels & inventory targets.
• Manage inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing excess stock and carrying costs.
• Implement inventory tracking systems and maintain accurate records of stock movements.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Analyse inventory data to forecast demand and optimize procurement decisions.

Logistics Coordination:

• Facilitate the movement of goods from suppliers to warehouses, distribution centers, and ultimately to customers through efficient planning and coordination of transportation logistics.
• Optimize transportation routes to minimize costs and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs agents to facilitate smooth logistics operations.
• Monitor shipment tracking and address any issues or delays in transit.

Compliance and Risk Management:

• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing procurement and logistics activities.
• Mitigate risks associated with procurement and logistics operations, such as supply chain disruptions and quality issues.
• Implement measures to enhance security and safety throughout the supply chain.

Continuous Improvement:

• Demonstrated abilities in enhancing personal skills.
• Data driven/Statistical approach (Forecast, Market study & customer behaviour track)
• Have technological adaption in development of our organization.
• Maintained KPI & KOI in place.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization within the procurement and logistics functions.
• Implement best practices and technologies to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of procurement and logistics strategies.

Requirements:

• Any bachelors degree with 1-3 yr experience in Supply Chain Management or a related field with English & Hindi speaking skills mandatory.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and logistics partners.
• Minimum knowledge in inventory management software and logistics management systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Basic knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance standards related to procurement and logistics.
• Basic ERP Knowledge, any.
• MS Excel, MS Word, MS PPT & Outlook/Gmail.
• Flexible with Shift timings/Internal transfers/travel.
