Senior Proposal Writer

Role & responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end process associated with Pre-sales, Pursuits and RFP management for successful client acquisition.
• Experience in managing the proposal team.
• Proposal Writer experienced in capturing and preparing IT (Information Technology) proposals for US state, any public sector and private sector customers. Interested to work for federal client.
• Opportunity Assessment / Gap Analysis from a Capabilities & Past Performance Perspective
• Collaborate with BD, Sales, and Business units to identify and pursue opportunities (including Sales Leads, RFPs) and develop appropriate proposals.
• Lead the proposal management and ensure proposals made are compelling, aligned to organizational value, accurate and timely.
• Drive RFP Qualification and end ensure development and completeness of all responses and addendums on RFP.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients and partners.
• Handle assigned number of RFPs involving US State, federal and local agencies.
• Provides answers to technical questions within the RFP and works with vendor tools, specialists, and sales engineers to develop the content for the proposal.
• Build Presales Status Updates & Quarterly Report Cards and other ad hoc Reports for Executive team review.
